“Flowers on the Wall” is a popular country song by the American country-gospel band The Statler Brothers. It was written by the band’s tenor, American singer and composer Lewis Calvin DeWitt, and released in 1965 as part of the album of the same name. A lot of listeners and performers will recognize the composition by the Pulp Fiction movie where it was featured in 1994. The song got numerous awards and titles, including a Grammy for Best Contemporary Performance in 1994. It peaked to the tops of Hot Country Singles and Billboard Hot 100 (2nd and 4th positions relatively). Since the year of the first release, “Flowers on the Wall” was re-recorded twice. It appears on The Statler Brothers’ 1975 album “The Best of The Statler Brothers” and on Nancy Sinatra’s 1967 album “Boots”. Among the most popular versions of the song is the one by Eric Heatherly recorded in 2000.
