“All This Time” is a song that was written specially for the Scottish singer’s Michelle McManus for her performance at the UK “Pop Idol” show in 2003. In the final, the song was performed both by Michelle and her competitor Mark Rhodes, but Michelle pulled out the victory. As a result, “All This Time” went on to become her first single released later that year. The song soon became a No.1 hit in the UK and reached the top chart positions in the UK and Scottish Singles. In 2004, the song was included into Michelle’s debut album “The Meaning of Love” but it didn’t manage to repeat its popularity, which is why Michelle got dropped by BMG label. Two other singles by Michelle McManus include “The Meaning of Love” and “Just for You”.

Like it happens with many Pop Idol's winners, Michelle McManus was forgotten too fast, though I think she has one of the most beautiful voices out there. I always loved her version of All This Time. Tod bad I can only do the piano interpretation of it, not enough vocal training

Michelle is such a talented woman! It is hard to believe that this beautiful song came out when I was only 10? Time flies so fast(
