Lovely music, the talented Einaudi! Happy Birthday to Ludovico who has recently turned 60, he's a true star in the contemporary classics

I'm happy to admit that modern classics has in fact a lot to offer to the listener, I keep discovering phenomenal piano pieces once in a while now and it is so amazing that there are a lot of talented musicians now. I've been following Einaudi's work for quite a while now and he is no doubt one the modern composers I look up to. Love this composition especially, it's an outstanding piano work.

Here it is finally! One of my favorite piano works by Einaudi! Listening to those sounds I would hardly think that there is such an interesting story of inspiration behind the song, and hardly would I relate it with a hippo from Mali ^_^ But no matter what inspired Ludovico for creating this wonderful piece, I’m really happy with the result and with being able to play it myself now.

es gibt keine Worte, die meine Gefühle genau beschreiben können, wenn ich diese wunderschöne Komposition höre oder spiele. sie bringt mir zur Ruhe und weckt die schönsten Erinnerungen, wenn ich einen schweren Tag hatte oder etwas los ist. meiner Meinung nach, ist diese Musik das Werk von großer Schönheit und gehört zu moderner Klassik.

A masterpiece for sure, like most Einaudi’s works. Though this particular music piece is somewhat associated with something tragic for me, even a funeral ceremony, I dunno. Though a friend of mine, pianist, can’t stop persuading me it’s a very tender and joyful piece of music that could easily go as a wedding song )) It’s all a matter of individual perception, I understand. But I hear the piece had been inspired by the subject of ‘loss’. For what I am almost sure of is that it’s the kind of music that will not date fast for sure.
