This is a compilation of 87 Folksongs and Nursery Rhymes from various areas of Italy that I have taught and sung over the past 30 years in my work as Choral teacher in the Florence area. The titles of the songs have been translated. Some have been set for 2/3/4 part chorus. I consider this volume I. There are many other songs in collections in my library in Photocopies and various editions. I'd like to put them together in volumes for easy reference, they are not in any special order but there is a page index by page numbers and by song title. You can get an approximate translation of the text in sites on line, or my typing in the title. Wikipedia.it has many explanations.
