In the 1980s I created a cycle of piano compositions titled as "Klangbilder" ("Sound Paintings"). “Baton Rouge” is part of this collection of short pieces which depict incidents, ideas or images. The music is influenced by different "classical" epochs - including the 20th century - in connection with elements of Jazz. The sound sample is an export file from "Sibelius", and it doesn`t reflect the notation perfectly.
