Very rare neapolitan song from Ernesto de Curtis - the composer of "Torna a Surriento", "Non ti scordar di me" and many other beautiful Neapolitan songs.
From 1920 until at least 1930 de Curtis was a personal pianist of Beneamino Gigli. He traveled around the world making concerts with Gigli and composing many beautiful songs for the great tenor. This song is one of those especially written for Beneamino Gigli songs.
