“Stand by You” is a pop song by the American singer-songwriter Rachel Platten. It was written by Rachel together with Joy Williams, Jack Antonoff, Jon Levine & Matt Morris. The song was released in 2015, and in 2016, it was included in Rachel’s 3rd album “Wildfire” becoming the first track (and the 2nd single) on it. Musically, “Stand by You” is an A Major composition at the 94 BPM tempo. The song became Platten’s 2nd hit to reach the top 40 in American Billboard Hot 40, after her previous hit “Fight Song”. The song also became the No.1 in the Adult Pop Songs in 2016. “Stand by You” was certified platinum in the US and Australia, and gold – in Canada.

The more I play it, the more I love it now, its great spirit. As far as I can judge, the music producers brought up the best of Rachel in this composition. The timing, the chords, the beat, all is beautiful about it! It would suit best a classically trained vocalist and the piano accompaniment goes along just perfectly with it.
