The song Kojo No Tsuki [ Moon over the Castle ] is more than100 years old and very popular in Japan. It was composed by Rentaro Taki [1879-1903] He studied at the conservatory of Leipzig (founded by F. Mendelssohn) before returning to Japan. I have harmonized this theme in three different ways. After the start it returns after the third variation and after the final ninth variation. As an homage I wrote the piece in a contemporary romantic and polyphonic style. https://youtu.be/UX5RF8hiI-Q
