"Voco" (2016) für 7 Pauken (Voco 1) und präparierte Harfe (Voco 2)
Während die Pauken das Rufen von Glocken im Sinne von wiederholten und vielgestaltigen Impulsen umsetzen und dabei eine Art Hintergrundklang für die Harfe gestalten, greift die Harfe das Rufen auf, indem sie andere rufartige Klänge aus dem Hintergrund eines Glockenklanges solistisch thematisiert. Ein Ruf ist ein Zeichen. Durch beide Stücke gemeinsam, durch die synthetische Verbindung von Hintergrund und Vordergrund als Polywerk werden Glocken als Zeichen zur Achtsamkeit fokussiert.
Beide Stücke können separat oder gemeinsam musiziert werden. Voco 1 kann von 7 Profis komplex gespielt werden, für eine Aufführung eines Perkussionlehrers mit seinen 6 Schülern können Aspekte weggelassen werden, so dass Voco 1 leicht wird. Voco 2 ist ein schweres Harfensolo.

While the timpani play repetitive and differentiated impulses as a kind of background for the harp, the harp thematizes other call-like sounds out oft he background of a bell-sound. A call is a sign. Through both pieces together, the synthetic relation of foreground and background the polypiece sets a focus on bells as a sign for mindfulness. Both pieces can be played separately or together.
Voco 1 can be played by professionals, if a percussion teacher plays with his pupils aspects can be omitted to make the piece easy. Voco 2 is a difficult harp solo.
