This is an album of sixteen hymns (zmirot in Hebrew), that are sung around the sabbath table. Some of these hymns got even more than one musical version. The composer, who himself invented the melodies, arranged the hymns for choir a cappella with two to eight voices. One of the hymns has been arranged for two choirs, each with four voices, who sing simultaneously in a beautiful contrapunctal setting.
