The US cellist and composer Sharon Gerber is also a gifted writer, soundscape artist and arranger. She graduated from the Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree and from the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” in Berlin, Germany, with the Masters Diploma in Cello Performance. Gerber’s career is rich in special events including her active participation in international festivals throughout the United Stated, in Canada, Germany, France and the UK. She is laureate and winner of many cellists’ and concerto competitions. Gerber is greatly inspired by her 180-year-old cello, an inspiration that has so far lead to the production of four CD’s – the “Kaffeemusik” albums.
