Sheryl Smith, the founder of “Yellow Cello Music” did not follow the traditional career path of most musicians. Unlike many children who started off playing their favourite instrument early in childhood and nourished their devotion through the years, Smith began with the clarinet, switched to songwriting for acoustic guitar, then played viola, and only after that fell for her beloved cello. Despite having a Bachelor of Music degree from Boston University, Sheryl built a career in electronics. But today she’s back to music more than ever. At her personal site at MusicaNeo, Sheryl has got a lot to offer for beginners and advanced cellists: music scores for cello duos, trios, quartets, ensembles, as well as custom arrangements.
