Gerasimos Pylarinos is a Greek composer, arranger and music professor. Born in Lixouri, he studied guitar and music theory at the Hellenic Conservatory of Athens. Private lessons on composing and interpretation were also obtained from German professors Siegfried Behrend and Gunther Becker. Pylarinos has composed numerous symphonic works, violin concertos, trios for flute, viola and guitar, as well as solo compositions – most are available at his personal site at MusicaNeo. All of his pieces have been performed either live or recorded by well-known orchestras and appeared on radio and TV shows in Greece and abroad. Today, Gerasimos Pylarinos is member of the Hellenic Union of Composers and professor for guitar at Nikos Scalkotas Conservatory.
