“Vindicated” is a theme song from the 2004 superhero film-sequel “Spider-Man 2”. The song was written by Chris Carrabba and recorded by the American emo/alternative rock music band Dashboard Confessional for their album “Dusk and Summer”, as well as for the movie’s soundtrack. It was also released as the band’s second single. In the film, “Vindicated” is played during the end credits. Chris Carrabba drafted the song in under 10 minutes, inspired after having received and watched the Spider-Man’s screening. The song “Vindicated” received the most airplay at the American alternative rock music radio stations, often going nose to nose with the popular “Just Like You” hit by Three Days Grace.

To my mind, this song is what suits the image of spider-man most of all, and considering the fact that 2nd part of the movie is the most successful (at least definitely better than part 3), vindicated is THE main song of this awesome story
