This is a great arrangement, but for a few chords I found 'out of place', it would have been an authentic Kurt Weill original. The piece does require quite a bit of rehearsing if you want to play it to the public and not just thrum the strings for your own enjoyment. The arrangement is really helpful, it captures all you need to sound convincing. The left-hand rhythm might seem tricky, but well, it's often like that with the left hand (with me, at least). The beat is wonderful, though! Also, I do sometimes wish I could play the trumpet and perform the Louis Armstrong version of it. It would have been such a crowd pleaser, I'm sure!
