I mostly came across choral arrangement of The Chain on the Internet and had it performer by my fellow vocalists a couple of time (which was really wonderful by the way). I know that SATB performance can make the most of this song giving each voice a place to place, however I was also wondering if it can be made as effective on a solo instrument or at least with a single singer. So I printed out this arrangement rather out of musical curiosity but I was stunned by the result. The famous bass line does the job really well making the whole thing translate very well into a solo and yet still sound effective. This transcription was apparently created by someone who understands performers very well.
