"Christ The Lord is Risen Today" is the traditional Easter hymn in an exciting arrangement for SATB, Piano, and Optional Handbells - 4 octaves. In addition to the regular tune, there are excerpts from Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus" which seems to naturally fit where the excerpts are place and highlights the entire arrangement. The choral parts are not difficult; the handbell choir requires intermediate level performers; and the piano accompaniment requires an accomplished pianist. The piece is suitable for combined choirs or the traditional church choir or high school and college choir. It is appropriate for most concert venues, sacred or secular. The handbell music (4 octaves) is included in the choral arrangement. The audio clip is a computer rendering in Finale.
