“Miss Ann” is a song from the 1961 jazz album “Far Cry” by American musician Eric Dolphy. Most of the album is a dedication to Charlie Parker, while “Miss Ann” is a song inspired by a girl Eric knew at the time. This song was his musical portrait of her. American trumpet player Booker Little also appears on the recording of the song.

That guy was a great improviser! Id love to master my sax to be at least half as good as he was!

Die Musik ist super toll, völlig schön. Herr Dolphy ist ein großer Virtuose, mit seinem Spiel bin ich iommer fasziniert.

Dolphy's sax performances were always splendid, I'm afraid he is one of unacceptably underrated players and composer if we look back at the history of jazz.
