This simple arrangement of the Ash Grove is one of a series of British folk songs for SAB (soprano/alto/bass) choir and piano.
I have used the John Oxenford English translation
The sound sample is an electronic preview and uses wind instruments to represent the voices and a harp patch for the accompaniment.
In view of the words in verse 1 I suggest using a harp patch if the accompanying instrument is an electronic keyboard.
If this is used in a Community style concert, the audience might like to join in verse 2, where the choir is in unison
The zip file includes accompaniments in mp3 and midi format, and the score and separate piano part in pdf format.

This arrangement of the Welsh folk song Llwyn Onn - using the English words as written by John Oxenford (19th Century) "The Ash Grove" - has the tune in the upper voice and an accompanying counter-melody in the lower voice, with guitar chord names.
