The Alto's Lament

Musical excerpts like this are guaranteed to be loved by the audiences so I often go for Broadway songs and the like :) But here's a little bit of advice for those who are gonna play The Alto's Lament - do not be tricked by the title - you will actually need some higher notes too! In general, the range is demanding here. The song itself is very witty and entertaining, it can be easily adapted t a shortened audition song for example. In my view, it's the most suitable for a soprano comedy singer!
