A short prelude for solo harp. I have to say, i think the Harp to have one of the most beautiful sounds of all instruments, it is delicate and the sound is very reminiscent of water to me, Hence i wrote this prelude, called 'The Water Garden' with the image of a serene and beautiful Japanese Water Garden in mind. I also thing there is something very oriental about a harp's sound, as it reminds me of a Guqin, a beautiful chinese instrument.
