I have provided two (separately published) versions of this flute, clarinet and guitar arrangement of the traditional Scottish song "Scotland the Brave", in order to take advantage of the drone potential of the bottom strings of the guitar. The original version is in E but it requires the clarinet to play in 6 sharps; so I created an alternative in F for which the guitar will play the same fingering but with the capo on the 1st fret. The sound sample is an electronic preview. The pdf file contains score and parts.

These variations involve fairly complex techniques including left hand pizzicato, double stopping, harmonics and 3 and 4 part chords.
First verse of the original song:
Hark when the night is falling Hear! Hear the pipes are calling, Loudly and proudly calling Down thro' the glen. There where the hills are sleeping, Now feel the blood a-leaping, High as the spirits Of the old Highland men.
