Play once or repeat many times, optionally separating/accumulating layers. Octave doublings are fine. The first four bars may be repeated ad lib. to make a longer introduction/middle/ending. Percussion/drums play ad lib. The off-beat low C in the first four bars may be continued throughout by one or more instruments, becoming quarter notes, eighth notes etc.
