"The Waltz" or "La valse" for symphonic orchestra was composed in 4-voice sketch on December 11, 1987. It was waiting to be orchestrated over two decades, as in the first version it was done in June 2011. With that original version I was not quite happy, however. Although its form and all melodic lines were faithfully preserved and did not incur any alteration, harmonic structure was substantially changed and refined as more voices were added, and final orchestration was completed by June next year (that is 2012). In this form it is presented here.
