This is a setting of the famous XVIth c. melody used by Michael Praetorius, for three women's or three children's voices, SSA, with 3 verses in English and 3 verses in German. This is a Christmas Carol and can be performed both in Church services or on a concert program. The music can also be performed instrumentally (as the musical example presents).
