2 fun pieces with a preparatory exercise to help students develop the co-ordination needed to play this well known walking bass, while adding chords or an improvised melody in the RH.
The preparatory exercise needs to be practiced for fluency and secure fingering. The 4th finger should be used in the LH. The easier 3rd finger option should not be substituted. This will prepare and make it easier for students when they need to play arpeggios that require the 4th finger in the LH to be used.
The exercise and the 2 pieces could also be played as one complete piece.
