Written in minor pentatonic mode with a few quotes at the end from the famous Sakura melody.
This was written for Takashi Miyatake who died last year. He was very kind helping me to contact the Iris Clarinet Quartet, who have since performed various pieces of mine. The sound sample here is just an electronic preview, but a live performance may well take place soon.
The instrumentation is 3 standard B-flat clarinets and 1 B-flat bass clarinet
