This work was inspired by a photo a friend of mine made. When this work was recorded the first one to listen to it was a other friend and colleague of mine; Bert Elderenbosch. During his listening he died in his chair: The last thing Bert heard was this sonata. I dedicated my Grand Trio to him.

This work is again very difficult!
