(FRANCAIS) Ce nouvel opus examine le contrepoint basé "verticalement" sur la
3ce et la 4te (ascendante ou descendante). Chaque passage reste
dans une même modalité, évitant de quelconques altérations.
Examinons l'exemple ci-dessous. Pour suivre la construction
chaque accord, il suffit de suivre chacune des 4 notes de l'accord
"1 2 3 4" ou "a b c d". Entre un nombre ou une lettre précédente
ou suivante, il y aura nécessairement une 2de ou une 4te ascendante ou descendante. (ENGLISH) This new opus examines the counterpoint based "vertically" on the 2nd and 4th (ascending or descending). Each passage is in the same modality, avoiding any alterations. Consider the example below. To follow each chord construction, simply follow each of the 4 notes of the chord "1 2 3 4" or "a b c d". Between a number or a letter (previous or next), there will necessarily be a 2nd or 4th ascending or descending.

The unique treatment and utilization of voices is remarkable. The composer's pedagogy is simple and easy to understand when coupled with his notes. And his music, although theoretical and intellectual, provides a sensitivity uncommonly found in such theorists.
