WEDDING MUSIC - (B3a) – Wagner (arranged for organ by Colin Bayliss) 1. Procession from the Kemenate to the Minster. Lohengrin: Act II Scene 4 2. Heil dir Gunther, dir und deiner Braut. Götterdämmerung: Act II Scene 4 These two pieces were originally arranged by the composer for his first wedding in 1971. The manuscript was subsequently lost, and the pieces were arranged again as a concert piece for a St. Valentine’s Day
organ recital given by Joseph Nolan in 1992.
The sound sample here is the Götterdämmerung movement, performed by Ronald Forst.
