from the cantata Easter Tableaux written for SAB choir, "He Was Despised" depicts a reasoning envisioned by the author as to why the man, Jesus Christ, was sentenced to die. The audio preview includes a true vocal performance to better audition the music.

Mr Joe's Music has released a portion of the cantata, Easter Tableaux, for the 2014 Easter season. Written for choir (Soprano-Alto-Baritone) with simple, contemporary instrumentation including keyboards, guitar, bass, and drumkit (as seen fit by music directors to meet their own performance needs as most of the work can be performed with piano accompaniment alone) Easter Tableaux includes a total of 12 scenes from the New Testament between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.

Performances in a House of Worship require no additional licensing, otherwise performance licenses are required and available directly from the publisher.
