This motet (O my Sweetest Jesus) for 3 a cappella voices can be found easily as a public domain piece. but here I have added the two verses under the vocal melodies, wheras normally only the first verse is published. Basically it can be sung on any occasion, the polyphony is in the Classical Roman style, similar to Palestrina's works. The text is in the original Latin, a translation in English is included on the pdf. The music can be sung either by a choir or by three soloists. I have also uploaded a version for SSA voices with added keyboard accompaniment.
1.O Jesu mi dulcissime! O spes! Spirantis animae Te quaerunt piae lacrymae, et clamor mentis intimae.
2.Mane nobiscum, Domine, et nos illustra lumine. Pulsa mentis caligine, mundum reple dulcedine.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
1.O Jesus, my sweetest one! Oh hope! The tears of the pious invoke you, and the innermost soul cries out to you.
2. Stay with us, Lord, and shine your light upon us. Drive away the darkness, and fill the world with your sweetness.

This motet (O my Sweetest Jesus) for 3 upper voices can be found easily as a public domain piece. but here I have added the two verses under the vocal melodies, wheras normally only the first verse is published. I have also added an optional keyboard accompaniment to adapt to modern day church services or concerts in various venues. Basically it can be sung on any occasion, the polyphony is in the Classical Roman style, similar to Palestrina's works. The text is in the original Latin, a translation in English is included on the pdf. The music can be sung either by a choir or by three soloists. I have also uploaded the a cappella versions of the same piece for SSA and SAT (free download).
