Miniature piece informed by an on-going research on extended techniques and their application on new compositions for solo clarinet. The piece was premiered at St Martin in the Fields in London in 2011 for their "New Music Series" and features a initial section where a series of sound effects set the mood (mainly multi-phonics and quarter-tones) before getting to a lyrical middle section and a cadenza libera at the end.
