An unusual piece for piano, Death March (in E minor) has the rhythmic feel of a Heavy Metal composition. Written for pianists at the Late Elementary-Early Intermediate Level(Grade 3-4), it lends itself to collaborative playing. Have fun with it!

Very nice music for students! It reminds me of some of Kabalevsky's pieces -- easy enough for Level 3-4 pianists, with interesting harmonies and a few surprises. I also like your description and helpful ideas.
