This book is a concise introduction to the classical guitar and ideal for the absolute beginner. This simple, yet comprehensive guide, is perfect for adults and children alike.
After 35 years of teaching the classical guitar, I realise the majority of beginner guitarists struggle with the same problems, and I have worked out how to help them overcome their difficulties.
Frets Without Tears is set out in seven chapters and contains not only traditional melodies but also 30 original pieces in an array of styles, including classical, folk and world music, up to and including intermediary level.
Although complete in itself and suitable as a self-tutor, the assistance of a good classical guitar tutor (or student of 5th grade+) wherever possible, would be an advantage whilst using this course. Happy fretting, Vincent F. Coley L.G.S.M. pd. td.
