"To D.R. in Holloway" is a haunting piece for SSAA chorus or quartet, with folk, choral and gospel influences. There is a soprano and an alto solo. This piece was commissioned by the Anthology a cappella quartet in Boston for their concert series, Voices of Protest and Unrest, and was performed at the International Alliance of Women in Music Congress 2011 in Flagstaff, Arizona. The song is based on a poem by Laura Grey, a British suffragette.
