“Hold Back the River” is an indie/folk rock song by James Bay, an English singer and songwriter. It was co-written by James and Iain Archer (Northern Irish songwriter and the winner of Ivor Novello award) and released in 2014. “Hold Back the River” became the 2nd single from Bay’s 2015 album “Chaos and the Calm” (debut). In 2016, the song was nominated for the Best Rock Song at Grammy Awards but lost to "Don't Wanna Fight" by Alabama Shakes. However, it went up to the second position in the famous Singles Chart in the UK.

If not completely similar to the original, looks like this version bears at least 90% of similarity. The melody, the harmonies and the chords, all seems to work nicely. I feared to receive an empt-ish simplistic score but no, it turned out to be a quality version of the decent complexity. Thanks.
