“7 Years” is a soul/pop song by the Danish band “Lukas Graham”. It was written by Lukas Forchammer, Stefan Forrest, Morten Ristorp, Morten Pilegaard, and released in 2015 as a digital download and a part of the band’s album “Lukas Graham (Blue Album)”. “7 Years” is a very personal song for the band’s frontman – Lukas Forchhammer. It talks about a man’s aging process and the responsibility of being a good father (written after the death of Lukas’ father in 2012). The song performed well on the charts, topping those of Denmark, Austria, Sweden, New Zealand, the UK, and Canada. It had a commercial success in the US too, getting the band a contract from Warner Bros. In 2016, “7 Years” was covered by Jasmine Ying Thompson, a pop singer from England.

To those who are doubt of their piano skill I must say that this sheet music is really easy to read and play. The version is visibly simplified but it does catch the song and all of the chords seem to be accurate (as far as I've heard so far). I only got the score last night and I am already feeling quite confident playing it today. I think it will suit the 2/3 year nicely. It's a great song to have it in your repertoire.
