“On My Mind” is an R&B/electropop song by the popular English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding. Written by Ellie together with Max Martin, Savan Kotecha and Ilya Salmanzadeh, the song was released in 2015 as the lead single from her 3rd album “Delirium”. The same writers worked with Ellie on her previous hit-single “Love Me Like You Do”. “On My Mind” speaks about a one-night stand that leaves the protagonist with dubious thoughts. Many critics saw the song as a reply to the single “Don’t” by Ed Sheeran (supposedly addressing their relationship), though Ellie was firm in denying the fact. “On My Mind” was quite successful commercially: No.13 on Billboard Hot 100, Top 10 in the UK and Australia, Top 20 in another 7 countries. Some magazines called it one of Ellie Goulding best music hits.

Well< I couldn't but get this score after having FINALLY mastered the Love Me Like You Do on piano. After learning to play at least one of Ellie's compositions, you realise that her music pieces are easier than you thought (in terms of performance and score-perception). However, I must admit that this particular song sounds much better on guitar. The piano score is less intricate but if you do play guitar and get the score right, it would make such a fine play. The guitar part is definitely bright and refined on the track, you will see that as soon as you compare the two parts.
