“Porz Goret” is a solo piano piece by the French composer and musician Yan Tiersen, the author of the award-winning soundtrack to “Amélie” film. “Porz Goret” was released as part of the sheet music book “Eusa”, a series of works about the composer’s home – the island Ushant. Each piece in the conceptual book, including “Porz Goret” is related to a certain location on the island (the book even contains a GPS point and a picture of the place). The 10 original piano pieces shape Tiersen’s vision of the beloved island, building its colorful musical map.

I can't even measure in words the amount of excitement I received playing the first notes of this score. I was so amazaed when Tiersen released the video to this first work from Eusa and that's when I knew immediately that I was gonna get myself the piano score. I've almost a dozen pieces by Yan Tiersen in my repertoire by now and Porz Goret is by far the most enchanted to me, chills all over.. What a great idea behind Eusa project!
