“Sweetest Devotion” is the title of the song written by the famous pop singer from the UK – Adele Adkins (or simply Adele). The song was released in 2015 as the final track on Adele’s 3rd album “25”. The co-writer of the song is the English songwriter & producer Paul Epworth who is also the co-author of some of Adele’s previous No.1 hits including “Rolling in the Deep” and “Skyfall”. By ‘sweetest devotion’ Adele refers to her son Angelo who also participated in the creation of the song: Angelo’s vocals are featured in the composition. In an interview, the singer admitted that her son became one of the biggest sources of inspiration for creating the “25”. Another song on the album dedicated to Angelo is “I Miss You”. Adele's refined musicality shines so brightly through this composition. Sweetest Devotion is the final track on the album but out of all the eleven compositions it's the number one that brings me the most pleasure when performed on piano (Hello is my 2nd favourite on the list). My husband is a violin played and I'm dreaming of performing this piece in a duet with his. Is there any chance the violin sheet music to Sweetest Devotion is going to be published on your site too any time soon?
