Piece for two marimbas and two vibraphones. The first movement presents a 12-tone first theme and its retrograde-inversion as the second theme. Both are developed in motivically non-12-tone fashion. The second movement can be described as a 12-tone meets minimalism. The movement progresses slowly (but with rhythmic energy) through a chord sequence derived from the tone-row.
