Composed in 1776, the Divertimento No. 12 is a delightful piece. Like all of Mozart's divertimenti, it is meant to be light and entertaining. It is both enjoyable to play and hear. It can be used in just about any situation where a quick, happy piece is appropriate.
As always, I have attempted to recreate not only the original sound of the piece but the experience of performing one of Mozart's more enjoyable piece. It has challenges for all parts.
