"Snowfields" is part of the piano suite "Wilderness Pilgrim" (CD and individual tracks are available at CD Baby). These pieces imagine a walk through a wild mountain landscape. In "Snowfields", the wanderer steps unexpectedly onto high, undulating meadows sculpted by snow, where a sea of air rushes in and one is rendered weightless.
