The Complete Elementary Mariachi Orff Ensemble Song Collection was compiled to give future mariachi students and their teachers a sequenced song list consistent with the principles of Kodaly/Orff pedagogy. It is not enough to simply arrange a mariachi song for students to sing and play with Orff instruments. In order to have more success with future mariachi students the elementary mariachi teacher must keep in mind the sequenced Orff curriculum. There are 40 songs in the collection.
