Difficult |
For soprano or mezzo voice with piano. Useful for inclusion in modern sets of recitals. Advanced - The text is drawn from a true story in Thunder Bay, in which Barbara Wester, soprano, discovered a crow hanging over a river entangled in fishing line and hooked in the shoulder. She risked drowning to rescue him, and they sat for a while and talked. She claims to have learned much of Huron history from this conversation, but has never elaborated past that.
