Written for an introduction to the Yom Kippur Torah Reading, this is a majestic setting for Cantor, Choir, and Keyboard of the texts, "And Moses said: O let me behold Your glory!" from Exodus 33:18-19, 21, and the passage from Psalm 99:9: "Let us exalt God... Rom'mu Adonai Eloheinu..."
Cantor Mark Childs 21 Sep 2010 22:25
I used this piece on Yom Kippur morning as a post-sermon anthem. It's the perfect length, upbeat and interesting. It's also a quick learn for a choir. Cantor Contzius continues to add high quality interpretations of our liturgy to my repertoire.
