another West Indian carol, NOT to be confused with "The Virgin Mary had a Baby Boy". arranged for String quartet with optional violin 3 part in place of the viola part if needed. The cello has "X" noteheads to be played percussively with the left hand slapping the rib of the cello. The cellist may use her/his right thumb knuckle to play the open strings instead of col legno if desired for an alternate timbre.
