This is a suite of four movements, written for children to either pay, or listen to.
(It also suitable for concert use, and has been played in a number of piano recitals.)
ALL ROYALTIES EARNT BY THE COMPOSER (sale of music and performance royalties) WILL BE DONATED TO A CHILDREN"S CHARITY.
Each movement depicts one of the four English seasons, and there is text written on the music to encourage imaginative playing : "travelling through villages" in Summer - "dripping icicles" in Winter. The spring movement is based entirely on birdsong, blackbird and cuckoo among others. Autumn and Winter are the simplest movements - Spring is the most difficult at around UK grade 6.
