Complete score and parts of the "Concerto in G minor RV 531" for Two concertante Cellos, Strings and Cembalo. Composed in 1728? by Antonio Vivaldi. Reconstructed and elaborated in Rome in 1972 by Santino Cara.
3 Movements: 1. Allegro, 2. Largo, 3. Allegro
Source: The year in which Vivaldi composed this concert is not known because there is no certain evidence that attests to a precise date. But careful studies also with the aid of testimonies dating back to about 1749 reported on letters sent by some Venetian concert players, make us almost certainly ascertain that Vivaldi composed this concert in 1728 and that the writing on the manuscript is not by Vivaldi but by copyists of the period. of the composer. This Concerto was rebuilt in 1972 for 2 concertante cellos and strings with two violins, violas, cellos, double basses with the development of the continuo for harpsichord. All this was possible thanks to the use of copies of the manuscripts kept in the "Hall of Manuscripts of the University Library of Turin". The current score was digitized and printed in Rome in 2020 with the progressive serial number: CS2781 from the Santino Cara catalog.

For intermediate cello quartet. All players get the melody! The score has been completely rearranged - the original cello parts do not match the cello 1 & 2 parts in this arrangement. There are many places where the solo cello parts are easier to play, and a couple of sections in cello 1 which are slightly more difficult than the original.
Cello 1 - bass and tenor clef, up to 7th position Cello 2 and 3 - bass clef only, up to 5th position Cello 4 - bass clef only, mostly first position
